The Internet Society (ISOC) is a global non-profit organization that was set up in 1992. ISOC’s vison is that everyone should have access to the Internet. The stated mission of The Internet Society is to support and promote the development of the Internet as a global technical infrastructure, a resourceto enrich people’s lives, and a force for good in society. ISOC- Sierra Leone is one of 135 Chapters that have been created all over the world. The Sierra Leone Chapter was created in 2005 and presently has 150 members.
